Mass Hypnosis, our premium death metal band have returned once again to blast off everything with their newest release, an EP entitled "God Complex", released on April 25th by Geenger Records. We believe you already know everything about them, but here's a short intro for forgetful and those who encounter them for the first time:

Mass Hypnosis were formed in Croatia's capital Zagreb in 2006 by the members of well-known local bands such as Forlorn Legacy, Machine Insufficiency and The Rite of Retaliation. In 2010 they released their debut album "Disin4mation" on Geenger Records, followed by the bonus material entitled "Media Brainwash", and made a strong statement throughout the Balkan metal scene. The album got fabulous reviews from all over and even earned the band an opening position for Deicide gig, among many others.

Some time passed, Mass Hypnosis made few line-up changes and additions, progressed musically and shifted their sound towards groovy, apocaliptical industrial metal with a bit of punk/crust influences to their lyrics and iconography. "God Complex" saw the return of the original guitarist Mario Tomašković as well as inclusion of DJ Odium and DJ Kodin, renowned producers on drum & bass / dubstep scene, also known as the creators of Protokol party events. Armed with keyboards and samplers, Mass Hypnosis make an unique blend of soundscapes and now set the difference from the majority of the bands in the genre even bigger.

The EP was recorded in Subscale studio, and got mixed and produced by vocalist Leo Bolješić and Jovan Kosta Vučetić (ex Machine Insufficiency / Mass Hypnosis). The cover was done by Leo Bolješić and DJ Odium.

Released on Easter Monday, "God Complex" coincides just fine with band's criticism of Church and enormous amounts of public money spent on Pope's trip to Croatia in June, while the country is struggling with debts and highest unemployment rate since the independence. "God Complex" is available as a free download from Geenger Records Bandcamp, and for those more into physical releases, there will be also an ultra-limited run of CDs available soon directly from the band.

Now, all you have to do is listen and enjoy this fine release, while Mass Hypnosis are in studio once again, working on their new album "Death Support System", as well as on some new videos and musical experiments.
